Man Finds A ‘Lost’ Dog, Tries To Help Until He Reads The ID Tag

When Tyler Wilson spotted a wandering Golden Lab near his home in Kentucky, he thought the pooch was lost. Then he read the dog’s ID tag.

What would you do if you found a stray dog? Would you try to get the dog to come to you? If it did would you try and find the dog’s owner? I think most decent people would. Sometimes stray dogs do not have a collar or a tag with their name on it.

In that case, you can post pictures of the lost dog in your neighborhood and maybe take some to some local veterinarians who may recognize the dog. Other times, the stray dog will have a tag or a chip that makes finding the owners a lot easier. Tyler Wilson was pumping gas at a Valero when he saw what he thought was a stray dog.

Being a kind-hearted and decent person, Tyler was able to get the dog to come to him.

Luckily, the dog had a tag – but when Tyler flipped it over, there was no phone number. Instead there was a message, and it gave the dog’s name, which was Dew.

Apparently, Dew likes to roam about his neighborhood. The tag gave instructions to anyone who may find Dew.

It said that Dew was not lost and to tell Dew to go home! Tyler shared this funny story on Twitter! His tweet has gotten a lot of attention!

Who would have ever thought to put that message on a dog tag? I think that is great! No one has to worry if Dew is missing, he is just out having some fun!
